Thanks so much for supporting
Senator Lisa Brown!
Lisa turns Spokane priorities into Washington priorities!
Senator Lisa Brown gets things done in Olympia. Respected for her integrity, strategic thinking, and effective leadership, she has been chosen as the Senate Majority Leader. She uses her position to fight for people who don’t have high-paid lobbyists in Olympia. She represents working families and the interests of Spokane and Eastern Washington.
Lisa's legislative work is bringing us good jobs with benefits. She successfully led efforts to create medical research facilities here and to provide incentives for regional aerospace manufacturers and the film industry, sound policies that are strengthening our economy. She helped revitalize downtown Spokane and our neighborhoods by securing funds for the Fox Theater, affordable housing, the renovated YMCA/YWCA, farmer’s markets, neighborhood centers, and bike trails.
Lisa believes in the power of education to strengthen our communities and the local economy. She took the initiative to expand the University district and the Riverpoint campus, expanding physical therapy and nursing programs and bringing first-year medical and dental education to Spokane. She increased funds for our school libraries and secured state support of the Northwest Autism Center, skills centers, trade apprenticeships, and the College Bound scholarship program. Lisa’s education successes are furthering the establishment of the Spokane area as a regional hub of advanced education and medical research.
Lisa works hard to make Washington healthier, safer, and cleaner. Advocates for children and health care, as well as law enforcement, firefighter, and environmental organizations have honored her with numerous leadership awards. From the Cooper Jones Bike Safety bill to the Lance Morehouse Jr. Developmental Disability Services bill, Lisa turns Spokane priorities into Washington priorities.
